How it all Started

Ellis Sales, Inc. is a family owned business that has been in operation since 1937

(4 generations of Ellises).

We have been in the Golf Car, Turf, and Industrial Equipment business specifically since 1951 selling and servicing customers in greater western Michigan. Our company has rebounded more than once from various obstacles that would have caused other companies to fail.
We successfully sold and serviced Cushman Golf Cars and Scooters, under the name of Ray Ellis, Cushman Sales, until the summer of 1975 when Cushman discontinued their production. In 1976 through 1977 we were a distributor for Pargo. In 1977 we purchased the Lansing

E-Z-GO factory store. For the next fourteen years Ellis Sales, Inc. continued to grow and expand. Early in 1991 E-Z-GO re-established factory representation and we have worked closely with them and continued to offer their quality product to our customers. We are also a dealer for
