How it all started

 

Ellis Sales, Inc. has been in operation since 1937.

 

We have been in the Golf Car, Turf, and Industrial Equipment business specifically since 1951 selling to and serving customers in greater western Michigan. Our company has rebounded more than once from various obstacles that would have caused other companies to fail.  We successfully sold and serviced Cushman Scooters and Golf Cars, under the name of Ray Ellis, Cushman Sales, until the summer of 1975 when Cushman discontinued their production.In the early 70s we changed our name to Ellis Sales, Inc.  In 1976 through 1977 we were a distributor for Pargo. In 1977 we purchased the Lansing E-Z-GO factory store. For the next fourteen years Ellis Sales, Inc. continued to grow and expand. Over the years we have carried the Melex and Hyundia Line.  Early in 1991 E-Z-GO re-established factory representation.  We work closely with the current

E-Z-GO Distributor and continued to offer quality E-Z-GO golf cars to our golf course and country club customers under our Full Service Lease Program.  We are an authorized E-Z-GO Dealer representing the Terrain, Express, and Freedom line.

 

We are also a dealer for Wesley International Pack Mule.   The Perfect Vehicle for Factory and Greenhouse use.

 

Ellis Sales, inc. is staffed and operated by professionals who have proven time and again that we have what it takes to get the job done.

We are one of the oldest golf car dealers in the country and have established an excellent reputation built on the Top Quality Service given

to our customers before and after a sale.
